Over the last couple of days I’ve been carrying the DP3M with the Marumi +5 with me. Sadly the sun shone only for brief periods of time, making it hard to find insects and spiders. The few, which appeared in front of my lens, were smallish flies and spiders, unsuitable to demonstrate the effect of the Marumi. The achromatic lens effectively halves the image ratio (1:3 without, ~1:1.6 with the Marumi) of the DP3M, as you can see in the photos I took a week ago. The size remains unchanged, even with the Marumi, the DP3M remains small enough to fit in a jacket pocket.
In lack of usable macro motifs, I’ve resorted to shooting guided by my gut feeling. 🙂
