700 Hot-Air Balloons in Time Lapse-Video

I’ve seen lots of impressive time lapse-videos in my life, but this one here is certainly one of the best. What you’ll see in the video is over 700 hot-air balloons taking off one after the other during the 42nd Annual International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, in New Mexico. The 9-day hot-air balloon event is the biggest of its kind in the world. The video was made by photographer Joel Schat for the travel-website Roadtruppers.com.

To make it, a Canon 6D, a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8, a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 and an Emotimo TB3 Black were used. More information on the video can be found on YouTube.

Those of you who have a suitable monitor can watch the video in 4k-resolution. 😉
