Some photographers are of the opinion that good light is crucial. Others, on the other hand, hold that it is depending on the subject whether a photo is perceived as boring or great. Whatever is most important, in this dark time of year I most of all miss light, no matter if it’s good or bad. When I drive home from work, it’s already dim. When I arrive at home it’s almost completely dark. You have no other option than to bump up the ISO and hope for the best. With a little luck, you’ll find one or the other interesting subject that cuts a fine figure even if heavily noisy and black-and-white. Once again, the DP2M and DP3M were used.
Everything until ISO3200 is perfectly good. ISO6400 is, as you can see in the following photo, not so beautiful anymore.
