As reported by digicame-info.com Sigma is supposed to announce its next fullframe lens, the 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art wide angle prime, as soon as this Friday. According to the Japanese rumor website the lens will be made of 15 elements in 11 groups. Eight of those elements are supposed to be made of special glass: one double sided aspherical, two FLD and five SLD lenses. Also, just like its siblings, 20/1.4 is supposed to be a large and heavy lens. Supposedly it will be 129.8 mm long, have a diameter of 90.7 mm and weigh 950 g. One further similarity between the 20/1.4 A and other Art lenses will be the diaphragm with 9 rounded blades.
