A glimpse into the worlds most livable city.

With their time lapse film “A Taste of Vienna” the guys from Filmspektakel achieved unbelievable success. Right on time for the announcement of the Mercer Quality of Living Survey’s results, which voted Vienna the most livable city in the world for the seventh time, the time lapse film of the Filmspektakel team became a viral hit on the internet.

Everything started in 2012, as the three friends, still students at the technical college, made their first steps in time lapse photography. Even their first film “Vienna Time Lapse” became a viral success. Finally, in 2014 they founded the Filmspektakel GmbH.

“A Taste of Vienna”, recently published and consisting of thousands upon thousands of pictures, picks you up for a journey through Austria’s capital. Subway, coffeehouse, Danube Island and St Stephen’s Cathedral – the Filmspektakel team dedicated themselves a whole year to producing the film, shooting nearly everywhere in the city, collecting 2 TB hard drive space of material. The result is a fascinating time lapse journey through the worlds most livable city.
