Andreas Lie achieved international fame and popularity with his double exposure series “Norwegian Woods”. This wonderful series shows animals that harmonize with Norway’s scenery. Snow-covered mountains and thick fir woods become the fur of the regional wild animals such as wolves, foxes and deer.
Most pictures of the 25-year-old artist, who currently lives in Bergen, Norway, reflect his profound appreciation and connection with nature.
In an interview with the website junique, the artist says most of his works are co-created with other artists, such as photographers, who provide him photos for editing. For all those among you who’d like to learn some personal details about this artist and his work I can recommend visiting his website:
Attached you’ll find some images of the series “Norwegian Woods” and a couple of pictures from Lie’s “Aurora Borealis”. Both series are far not the only works of the artist that are worth to be seen. It’s certainly worth taking a look at his homepage www.andreaslie.com or his Instagram page www.instagram.com/artworkbylie!
