Havana, a city where time has stood still for the last 60 years and which has been left to itself. Or at least it seems like that! 😉 A mix of colored colonial-style houses, la Habana, the old city filled with little abandoned lanes, stucco-ornamented buildings on every side and impressive street art at every second corner. A question one may wonder about on a tour through Havana is how splendid this city must have looked once.
For quite some time Cuba’s been on my bucket list and end of August I finally went there and let myself get carried away by Caribbean charm and magic. The best thing is to discover the city on a walk (which I prefer doing without any orientation) or a ride in one of the many traditional old-timers. But take a look for yourselves:
