At the next PDN PhotoPlus Expo , which will take place from 26 to 28 October 2017 in New York, the lens manufacturer SIGMA will show its full range of Global Visio lenses, cine lenses as well as SD Quattro and Quattro H cameras. However, the company will also announce a totally new lens to be presented during the Expo. But there’s no information what kind of lens this could be!
At the exposition a couple of image editing professional and renowned photographers can be found at the Sigma stands. They will discuss topics like the use of Sigma lenses in aviation, glamour, wedding, travel and landscape photography.
For now, I’d like to briefly present you some of the numerous photographers and speakers at the event. Most of us (including me) aren’t likely to fly to New York spontaneously and attend this year’s exposition live on stage. But we might be lucky and some information on the lectures may be published afterwards. That’s why knowing who will be there isn’t such a bad idea:
- Roman Kurywczak – For the Love of Landscapes:
This will open the hearts of all landscape photographers! The photographer will share valuable insights and practical camera configurations with the audience on Sigma’s 12-24mm F4 Art, 14mm F1.8 Art, 100-400mm F5-6.3 Contemporary and the 150-600mm F5-6.3 Contemporary lenses.
- Jim Schmelzer – Glamour Photography Using Exotic Lenses for Impact:
He will talk about beauty shootings and present the Sigma 85mm F1.4 DG HSM Art, 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports and 135mm F1.8 Art lenses.
- Liam Doran – Adventure Sports Photography:
Adventure and Sports photographers will also get great tips from him. Liam Doran will give the visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of his work. At the same time he will also present the lenses of the Art and Sports series he’s using.
But that’s only three of many speakers. You can find more detailed information on: https://blog.sigmaphoto.com/event/photoplus-2017
However, we are most excited about which new lens SIGMA is going to present at the exposition! There are quite a lot of speculations about this.
