Hey guys,
It’s was that time again: The 24th window of our Advent calendar has been opened. Since the evening of the 23th of December I’ve been with my family to make the 24th of December something real special. In the morning we celebrated my dad’s birthday with a big breakfast, because in our home Jesus has to share his great day. 😉
Later on we were baking some cookies that filled our house with a lovely Christmas smell. We made hot wine and then decorated our Christmas tree altogether.
We’re happy about the old Christmas decorations which already made my mom so happy in her childhood days. Each one of us has their favorite pieces, little cars, the funny sheep or old colorful birds that we put on the twigs of the tree. We cooked together, laughed and then we had dinner. The handing out of presents takes place later and later every year the older my brother and I grow because having dinner together is just too cozy. Nevertheless, I’m always looking forward to see my family’s faces as they open their gifts. As every year I mainly gave them presents in the form of photos to remember. How about you? How do you celebrate Christmas?
This morning I kept spending with my Canon 5D Mark III and my favorite lens, the 50mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art, to capture all the beautiful Christmas details for you. With an open aperture, of course, to create a maximum of a romantic ambiance!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve with your dear ones!
