I know I’m repeating myself, but the weather, which has been making us so happy for the past few days, is so incredibly nice! I almost feel as if we skipped springtime and started right into the summer – for me this is not a big problem at all. 😉
Last Friday I was at an opening of a beach bar where I took along my camera for you to feel the summer and enjoy the atmosphere at the Danube. Yes, you’ve read correctly, at the Danube – I didn’t have enough time for a trip to the sea, but I will do this as soon as possible of course.
I took the pictures with my Canon 5D Mark III and the Sigma 24-70 mm F2.8 EX DG HSM lens. With this equipment some nice panorama shots at sunset as well as detailed shots of the delicious cocktails weren’t a big deal. Even though I found vignetting in far-angle ranges a bit annoying, some clicks in Lightroom could fix this problem very well.
I don’t want to write a lot more but let my summer pictures speak for themselves. I just want to ask you a little question: Do you know the feeling when you keep freezing a lot during a shooting in winter? Whenever this is the case with me, I automatically edit my photos with a very cold color temperature. Even colder than it is suggested by white-balance. And when it is warm, I do the exact opposite. That’s why the colors in the pictures look like they were captured on a holiday in the Caribbean. 😉
I wish you a wonderful start into a new week!
