I’ve seen several time lapse videos, in which photographers record via selfies or portrait shots certain longer lasting and therefore difficult to perceive changes, such as the growing up of their children. But seeing someone record growing a long beard over a longer period of time is a first for me. And this is exactly where the term originates from: beard + time lapse = beard lapse. It’s the perfect content for a Friday evening or weekend. 🙂
The video was made by a Canadian man named Jon and his wife named Eva, who spent 911 days hitchhiking across the globe between 2015 and 2018. Jon didn’t shave once during their journey, in course of which they ended up visiting 33 countries. In case you are interested the shots were taken with a Canon EOS 750D and a GoPro HERO3+ Silver. Subsequently Jon made another time lapse of his huge beard getting shaved off. 🙂
