A paradise for photographers – ICELAND

Hey guys,

Today I don’t want to write a lot but simply let my photos speak for themselves. I took them during the past two weeks in my new favorite country. No typical holiday destination, but in any case a true paradise for all lovers of nature and photo enthusiasts.

Iceland proved to me that some spectacular wonders of nature wait for us to discover them at every corner. Very often these aren’t even worth to be mentioned in a travel guidebook, but still they make me stunned every day again. The motto is (like on every holiday): keep your eyes open and enjoy! From breathtaking waterfalls, wonderfully situated hotspots in the midst of nature, magical vistas across the partly almost surreal looking scenery or colorful, dreamy little fishing villages this island really offers about everything.

I took the photos with my Sony Alpha 7 RII and decided to use the all-round-lens, the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Art (with an MC-11 converter). In addition, I took along the Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG HSM Art and the SIGMA 135mm F1.8 DG HSM.
